handmade holiday // put your stamp on it

aren't these food labels just the cutest?  i found this stamp at anthropologie and it had my name all over it (literally and figuratively, says the english teacher).  it is the perfect addition to the canned goodies that i am making for all of my friends and family this homemade holiday season.  (stay tuned for those recipes soon, they are good ones.)  

since homemade gifts are quite affordable to make, it leaves some room for splurging on the neat details, like ruby red ink and red baker's twine for these charming decorative tags.  it is all about the little things, you know.  and i feel like the extra effort made in presenting your homemade goods makes these gifts feel more meaningful to those you are giving to.  i know i appreciate when my gift givers go the extra mile to make something feel personal and unique.  

so my advice?  head to your local craft store and get something to make your gift reflect YOU and put your creative stamp on it, so to speak.  well i am just full of puns today, aren't i?  just make sure to stay consistent and to keep it simple.  once you stock up on your own personal labeling crafts, you can apply them to your gifts all year long!  happy crafting.
