a few days back we visited a farm. it was a sweet little farm, where petting the roaming animals was strongly encouraged and where baby goats drank from wee bottles. for a few dollars, you could catch fish with bamboo poles. you could see everything from horses to hens and even a mama cow looking very pregnant. stella loved this place. i loved this place. and it didn't even cost a penny for admission! i think we will be adventuring back with dada quite soon so she can show him all of her new farm friends.
if you live in kansas city and fancy yourself a farm, pack a picnic lunch and head here.
it does cost a few dollars on the weekend, but we love it there too!

I went last weekend to a local petting farm in my town and I loved it! It was free as well but we donated a few bucks. I want to go back as they have a monkey house that wasn't open that day, and they have deer as well but they weren't there. Lovely pics!
