"a portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013."

stella: this cheeky monkey loves her dada's old ninja turtle.  cowabunga!

baby boy: i sure hope the progesterone shots i've been taking help our little man stay put for awhile.

this week was a calm one.  we did a lot of cooking and eating and talking about food.  i adore weeks like this.  i think i napped about every day and we went to the park just about every night.  andrew and i celebrated four years of marriage, but more on that later. it was just a good catch up week, you know?  slow and wonderful.  i did some canning too and i am excited to share all of my recipes with you!  hope your week was swell and full of relaxation.  summer weeks are good for that.

  3. These are great! Especially love the happy, under the covers laughter. It's funny to see what toys they will get attached to... very cool that she loves daddy's vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. =)

  5. These are great images! I really like them. You caught such a lively expression (and, ps, my little sister was similarly obsessed with the ninja turtles...funny isn't it?) And the way your framed the traditional belly photo shows a lot of creativity! Nice!

Wishing you (and your boy!) lots more cooking time (figuratively and literally!)
