stella:  looking so small against this giant wall of emerald ivy.  sometimes i forget that she is still my baby and not three going on thirteen. 

theo: sitting up in his boy by seat for the first time at the market!  this new stage is the best.

stella:  she's an explorer at heart and wears suspenders better than anyone i know.

theo: we've been enjoying the little patch of grass that sits between our condo and the next.

stella:  stella has her first visit to the ER this week.  she got three stitches in her forehead and handled them like a champ, not even shedding a single tear.  we were so proud of her. 

theo: theodore's hair is starting to turn red.  it is also starting to curl up when the humidity creeps in.  i think it is the most adorable thing i've ever seen.

stella:  i have been finding stella lounging on our bed throughout the day.  just laying there calmly thinking about princess and play dough and temporary tattoos, i presume. 

theo: i found this tiny colander at world market for three bucks and theodore thinks it's the bees knees in regards to teething, silly little boy.

stella: our first trip to the kansas city farmstead was a good one.  stella befriended a goat and got to see baby cows. 

theo: theo has dimples all over and prefers to be on his tummy now.

stella: we gave stella's little nook a spring makeover.  our pit-stop at the local thrift store was a successful one!  her new/old vintage sheets and embroidered pillow make her bed feminine in the sweetest way.

theo: at seven and a half months theodore is looking older than ever.  this tiny school chair we picked up the other day is just his size.
