happy september to you! i cannot lie, i am emitting sunbeam smiles over everything that is transpiring right now. i feel like i have so much to share with you, but oh where to start?
well, for starters, my first few weeks back to work have been nothing short of splendid. seriously, it's been like a breath of fresh air teaching these eager kiddos everyday. there have been a few hiccups here and there {i mean, i teach 14 year olds so that's expected} but overall, i have been so happy with my classes and how smoothly everything is going. perhaps that is why i have been a little mia here..... hence, lesson planning has taken over my life and i have been pretty preoccupied with all things english/teaching/classroom/copies/waking up REALLY early!!
on a side note: isn't there something magical about waking up before what seems like the rest of the world. i love tip-toeing to the coffee maker as the stars are still out and my babes are still snoring.
anyway...
then there's miss stella. you guys, she is just the sweetest. it's beyond amazing to watch her personality blossom right before our very eyes. she captivates us every second with her new dance moves {that include the most adorable booty shake you ever did see} and most recently, her legs hugs. over the past few weeks, she has been very huggy and a tad sassy i might add. interesting combination, indeed. but i suppose you could say she takes after her mama and so i should have known i would have had that coming. andrew is always telling how much he loves that she takes after her mama and he has even taken to calling stella "his little mommy" since we share the same temperament.
and have i ever told you that he is the best dada, EVER? well i'm sure i have, but i doesn't hurt to say it again, because it's so true. i married one heck of a man who continues to make me smile and laugh and feel that warm tingly feeling each and every time my eyes lock with his, and even when he uses his high pitch "haaiiiiii i'm elmo" voice with stella. it's thee cutest!
so things have been pretty great over here, and i know with fall right around the corner they are only going to get better.
