"a portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2014."

stella: we went on an underwater submarine adventure to see some fish one blistering afternoon.  stella loved every second of our voyage and stood by aquamarine glow of the window, excited to catch a glimpse at the world below the waves.  at times, she pressed her button nose into the glass, waiting there wide-eyed for a fishy to swim by.  seeing her so enthralled was really worth every penny.

theo: our littlest laid cradled in his daddy's arms as we roamed around the wide open sea, looking for whales.  he adored the breeze on his cheeks and not once did he make a peep.  this boy, like his sister, loves the way the ocean rocks him up and down, up and down.  such a calming force that will tug at him for the rest of his life i presume, calling him back to relax and unwind and lighten his load.

away we go // a whale adventure

have you ever seen a whale?  this was our first go, and it was magic.  from the deep, those gracious creatures came to greet us, swimming in threes and perfuming the air with salty mist.  so very beautiful they were.  i never thought seeing a whale would make me squeal, but it did.  a reminder that this world of ours is full of surprises, igniting within us a desire to seek new experiences and adventure.
