do you remember how liberating (and slightly rebellious) it was as a child to climb up onto your parents' cozy un-bed, playfully peel back the covers, and prance around on your tips toes? just as the morning light started to slowly bathe our bedroom with the most lavish golden rays, stella played ballerina, twirling around in her blush tutu like little girls should. i sipped tea and thought about my own love for silly bed dancing, whether it be a fancy hotel bed or my simply the comfort of my parents' because it's just more fun that way. stella is able to get her ballet slippers on herself these days prompting more spontaneous twirling to commence, and oh, how i love it so.
