stella: mama's head scarf and baby go everywhere with her these days.

baby boy: i think this one is going to be a soccer player.

this week has been long and delicious.  i have had the best of times dabbling in the kitchen during nap time creating drool-worthy and healthy meals for our family.  well mostly myself, because who am i kidding, i am eating up a storm these days.

miss stella and i have had our fair share of adventures this week, too.  we went to her very first movie!  it was at the plaza theatre for a buck.  the smurfs were playing and she thoroughly enjoyed a good half of the flick before we both decided it was time for lunch.  we also ate panzanella salad for breakfast, drew circles and lines, played with all of her babies in our bed, and did a little gardening at a friends house.  'twas eventful, indeed.

despite all of these beautiful experiences, we have dearly missed our main squeeze.  he's been getting home late working his tail off for our family.  we really have so much to be thankful for that he can provide for us and allow me to stay home with our babies.  i am grateful that he loves what he does and does a wonderful job at said profession, but we miss him.  it goes without saying but i'll say it anyways, we are in much need of family time and us time.  a good old fashioned date just might give us the time we need to simply hold hands alone and talk about silly things.  i suppose you can tell, i want to date my husband pretty badly.  

so today, i've got something planned.  a little secret!  it will be more of an afternoon surprise date, and i have a feeling he will just love it.  but first, the farmer's market is calling.
