freshening up // project nursery

i have been feeling the urge to freshen up the little ones' nursery ever since spring has rolled around the corner.  now that they will be sharing a space, i have decided i want to make it a bit more beautiful.  well, that, and i felt like crafting.  i saw a stunning vintage inspired kitchen awhile back on pinterest that has stuck in my mind ever since, only to be repurposed someday into a fun color pallet for my kiddo's room.  i adore the soothing mint, earthy mustard yellow, subtle peach, and bright poppy colors all melted together against lots of white on white.  it makes me happy, as color should.  this weekend i watched a few youtube videos and taught myself how to make a fluffy pom pom garland to go above the crib.  i love how it turned out and it only took about an hour!  it is an eclectic yet clean focal point for the bambinos' room.

i'll be adding a few more touches to their space in the near future and will be sharing the final product with you when it's finished! 

if you have any other questions on how i make my poms, feel free to ask!  i decided to make them a little on the fluffy and rather large side, for have a soft spot for the extra fluffy and unkempt poms. :)
