she's our world
she's almost two. she's rounding the corner and about to burst through that infamously sassy finnish line where two resides. it's terribly exciting and terrifying at the same time. although tiny, standing thigh hight at best, she is full of more wisdom and kindness than some adults i've met in my life. her most admirable quality: her politeness. she utters "thank you!" in the sweetest little voice in instances you would least expect. it comes naturally to her, like taco bell drive throughs are to me in this stage of pregnancy.
every time she says it our hearts swell with pride. we love and admire this beautiful trait of hers. she reminds us to be more thankful, which it turns out, we are very thankful for in this time of great turmoil our country is facing. our hearts are with you, boston and texas.
this tiny human is our world. she is brimming with potential in so many areas, like a flower on the cusp of a full bloom in late spring. although a bit apprehensive, we are ready to give her those wings to soar high above the trees, for we know she will move mountains and change the world one day. she has already made a tremendous impact on ours, this little girl.
