handmade // date night sticks

andrew and i think it's so very important to keep things spicy and fresh in our relationship.  in fact, we absolutely adore going on date adventures and cherish ANY alone time we can get these days with a wee one running around demanding to be the center of attention.  and who can blame her?

so last night, in we got a bit crafty and made a little date night jar with some ideas to add some spontaneity to our lives.  i used the colored popsicle sticks from my teacher stash that were left over and a we decided to store them in a simple mason jar on our bedroom book shelf.  here are some of our ideas!

blue sticks = inexpensive you can do at home date ideas

- make individual pizzas with italian movie
- bubble bath for 2

- dinner and a movie
- cocktails at a speakeasy
- take out and a drive-in

  1. This is such a fun idea! I feel like this would help silence the age old: "what do you want to do tonight?" question that goes on and on. :)
