our little banana thief
this weekend was all about wearing our warm, fuzzy hats with poms on the end and shopping at the market for fresh soup ingredients. while perusing the veggie stands, and trying to select the most gorgeously ripe pepper, a certain someone was being a sneaky little turkey......
unbeknown to us, miss sticky fingers herself swiped a ripe ol' naner without her mama or dada noticing. andrew and i walked from stand to stand, selecting our produce, and then finally made our way down to the flea before realizing what our sweet pea was clenching ever so tightly in her white-knuckled grip.
it was her dada that spotted the unfamiliar yellow toy and declared we have a mini thief on our hands. so back up to the banana stand we went, mildly embarrassed, with one hell of a smirk on our face might i add, and secretly placed stella's new toy back with it's banana family.
i feel bad because it went home a little busied and most definitely smooched around the middle. oops.
the moral of the story: wearing our bebe as a backpack to the market creates grand memories & our daughter likes to steal things {so be careful we must!}.
happy week to you. :)
