Looks beautiful! It's funny, my husband and I were just thinking about taking a trip to Minneapolis this summer, but we've been there a million times and started thinking if there were any other 'big' cities within driving distance. Looking at a map, Kansas City came up, but neither of us know anything about the city and we kind of brushed it off. The next day I discovered your blog, and had to point it out to my husband! He's big into roses and gardening now, and so this post makes Kansas City look particularly appealing to him. Maybe we will make it there sometime in the future!
ReplyDeleteerika! kansas city is one of those undiscovered places, i feel anyways. to be honest, we are still finding new and exciting things to do in this city and really are enjoying it here {we've been here now 3 years}. the rose garden being a prefect example of that :) let me know if you want me to send you some info of some of our favorite things to do here in the summer. a lot of it is SUPER affordable compared to other cities in the US. there is outdoor theater that can be quite fun in June & July and some really good food here!
