we are pretty excited over here because baby girl's nursery has been featured on babble.com in the "being pregnant" column titled, "20 ways to create a stylish nursery!" 

for those of you new to babble, it is an online magazine that speaks to a new generation of parents, and "...tells the truth about parenting, to bypass the cliches and dig into the magical and maddening reality..."  this site was launched in 2006 and time magazine named it one of the top 50 websites of 2010.  

as a new mama, babble has been one of my go-to sites because of it's unique comminuty of like-minded parents who, to me, embrace the realities of parenthood in a refreshing and modern way.

five random facts about me:

1. if i wasn't a middle school teacher, i'd love to be a cook, or play bass in an all woman rock band. {you should see my air guitar, people!}
2. i have an obsession with leather-bound planners and making lists with little boxes to check off.  now whether i get to this list is another thing...
3. i adore very strong foods/beverage, like stinky cheese and french roast coffee.
4. i hate cars but love driving fast.  and wish i could walk or bike everywhere, most preferably, this one.
5. i buy my wine based on the prettiness of the label alone.
