a recipe // watermelon lemonade
today stella and i were in need of a major cool down after feeding the ducks across the street. we bravely ventured out to get some fresh air and ended up sweating through all of our layers in a matter of no time. those lucky ducks had the right idea to go swimming today. when we got back home, i wanted to make something refreshing, super fast, and borderline healthy, so this is what resulted. watermelon lemonade! it was the easiest thing to make, only calling for a few ingredients. we slurped it down real quick and then hopped on the couch for some story time before naps.
ingredients:
3 cups of cubed watermelon, give or take
1 or two packets of lemonade crystal light
water
(seriously, that's it)
to make, blend together with lots of ice and enjoy! this recipe could be changed up with other fruit, of course. after we plant mint this weekend i will be adding that to my future concoctions. happy, happy summer to ya!

ReplyDeleteYum! I am having a cocktail party tomorrow night and was looking for a great frozen 'mocktail' to serve my pregnant lady friends. This is perfect! Thanks! Visiting from Tiff's blog!
