i am a flower girl. i always have been and rightfully presume always will be. having been awfully sick with mastitis for this whole past week i decided it was time i buy myself some wild buds once able to make it to the market. this variety reminded me of spring and sunshine and walks in the park, so i promptly placed them in my basket and made them the focal point of our hearth in the dining/living area of our home. i can always count on a simple bouquet to cheer me up instantly and help my mind drift to things of a more joyful tone.
this week i shall focus on healing, using these flowers as my muse as i continue to inch towards wellness and wholeness. no better guide than mother nature.
"No better guide than Mother Nature." Indeed! Well said, Mama. Hope you're on the mend soon.

ReplyDeleteoh, amanda, these flowers -- and your photos of them -- are beautiful. i hope you're feeling on the up & up very soon.
ReplyDeleteOh, so sorry you had to deal with that! It is the worst feeling, and I'm glad you've recovered. Hope it doesn't happen again! My second little one seemed to aid in a few bouts of mastitis and it was no joke.
ReplyDeleteFlowers are just about the best cure for anything. And the key to making a house look like a home.
ReplyDeleteI have some of these in the bouquet my boyfriend got me for Valentine's Day! They're absolutely gorgeous even though my cat keeps trying to eat them! Wonder what they're called. Hope you feel better soon!
